MLV-01 Multi V™ Installation Essentials

What you will learn:

The manufacturer’s guidelines for installing the piping and wiring systems connected to the indoor and outdoor LG Multi V™ air conditioning equipment.

Duration:

9 Hours*

Prerequisites:

  1. Advanced technical knowledge of commercial a/c, heat pump, and applied systems.
  2. Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

MLV-02 Multi V™ Commissioning

What you will learn:

The practical skills necessary to perform an external authorized commissioning of LG Multi V™ systems. Special focus will be spent on understanding how to use LGMV for the commissioning process.

Duration: 

12 Hours*

Prerequisites:

  1. Laptop PC running Windows Vista, 7, 8, 10 with a web browser of Internet Explorer 8.0 or higher with a minimum of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word installed. 
  2. LGMV software (to be obtained through your local LG Rep Agency)

MLV-03 Multi V™ Advanced Service and Troubleshooting

What you will learn:

You will become familiar with the breadth of LG's main and sub PCBs. On a modular level, the student will learn the part each component plays in a correctly operating LG Multi V™ system. Indoor and outdoor electrical connections and interrelationships will be discussed. Physical access to all major functional components will be covered along with practical guidance concerning the service and maintenance of LG Multi V™ equipment.

Duration: 

14 Hours*

Prerequisites:

  1. Laptop PC running Windows Vista, 7, 8, 10 with a web browser of Internet Explorer 8.0 or higher with a minimum of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word installed.
  2. LGMV software (to be obtained through your local LG Rep Agency)

MLV-08 Multi V™ Operations and Maintenance

What will you learn:

Students will learn about the leading products that constitute an LG Multi V™ system and proper guidelines of their installation, setup, and operation. Students will also learn how to use LG’s proprietary service, the LG Monitoring View (LGMV) tool, to evaluate and analyze operation and performance of LG Multi V™ systems during lab activities. Emphasis will be placed on system analysis and diagnosis.

8 Hours*

Prerequisites:

  1. Advanced technical knowledge of commercial a/c, heat pump, and applied systems.
  2. Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Excel and PowerPoint

MLV-10 Multi V™ Comprehensive Training (Combination of MLV-01, MLV-02, MLV-03)

What you will learn:

The practical skills necessary to install, perform an external authorized commissioning, and service LG Multi V™ systems. Special focus will be spent on understanding how to use LGMV for the commissioning and service procedures.

Duration: 

35 Hours*

Prerequisites:

  1. Advanced technical knowledge of commercial a/c, heat pump, and applied systems.
  2. Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  3. Must be employed by a company that is responsible for Installation, Service and Commissioning of LG Multi V™ equipment.

CON-01 LG V-Net Controls

What you will learn:

You will become familiar with the breadth of LG's product lineup of central control and room controller options such as the following;  AC Smart, CRC & CRC+, Multisite Communications Manager,  Power Distribution Indicator and BMS gateways such as ACP  BACnet™ and ACP  Lonworks™. Plus LG's line of Dry Contacts will be covered. Students will learn how all controls are connected, addressed and integrated into the control network. Most common problems and troubleshooting techniques will also be covered.

Duration:

 10 Hours*

Prerequisites:

  1. Advanced technical knowledge of commercial a/c, heat pump, applied systems, and low voltage wiring practices.
  2. Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Excel, PowerPoint and Word recommended.
  3. Prior completion of our “Multi V™ Installation Essentials” class MLV-01.

MVS-98 Multi V S Installation and Commissioning

What you will learn: 

The manufacturer’s guidelines for installing the piping and wiring systems connected to the indoor and outdoor LG Multi V S air conditioning equipment. Also the practical skills necessary to perform an external authorized commissioning of LG Multi V S systems. Special focus will be spent on understanding how to use LGMV for the commissioning process.

Duration:

 18 Hours*

Prerequisites:

  1. Advanced technical knowledge of commercial a/c, heat pump, and applied systems.
  2. Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  3. Latest version of LATS must be installed on your PC - you can obtain LATS from your local Rep.
  4. Latest version of LGMV software must be installed on your computer.

MVS-99 Multi V S Advanced Service and Troubleshooting

What you will learn: 

You will become familiar with the breadth of LG's main and sub PCBs. On a modular level the student will learn the part each component plays in a correctly operating LG Multi V S system. Indoor and outdoor electrical connections and interrelationships will be discussed. DFS-01 Introduction to DFS Product and Application

What you will learn:

This course will give a salesperson/contractor an overview of the steps that are necessary for applying and designing RLC (Residential Light Commercial) systems. In this course attendees will gain valuable insight on going to market with inverter driven products in lieu of standard, single speed, unitary products. The knowledge gained will help the attendees differentiate themselves in the marketplace.

5 hours 30 minutes

  1. Advanced technical knowledge of residential a/c, heat pump, and air distribution systems.
  2. Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Excel, PowerPoint and Word. 

DFS-04 Installation Essentials

What you will learn:

The manufacturer’s guidelines for installing the piping and wiring systems connected to the indoor and outdoor LG DFS air conditioning equipment.

Duration:

6 Hours*

Prerequisites:

  1. Advanced technical knowledge of residential a/c, heat pump, and air distribution systems.
  2. Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

DFS-10 Service Essentials

What you will learn:

You will become familiar with LG DFS equipment PCBs, EEVs, BLDC Motors, compressors and other components. On a modular level the student will learn the part each component plays in a correctly operating LG DFS system. Indoor and outdoor electrical connections and interrelationships will be discussed. Physical access to all major functional components will be covered along with practical guidance concerning the service and maintenance of LG DFS equipment.
